The Girl Child Concerns, GCC, provided financial support to 50 small business operators in the Gwoza Local Government Area of Borno State, offering them a total loan of N3 million to help rejuvenate their businesses, which had been affected by the insurgency.
The beneficiaries were selected from three specific communities: Gwoza Central, Pulka, and Gwoza Wakani. The presentation of the cheques was conducted in the presence of esteemed figures such as the Waziri of Gwoza, Muhammad Waziri and the District Heads of Pulka and Gwoza Wakani, Alhaji Ibrahim Ali and Abubakar Abdullahi Bello.
Thereafter, the organization conducted an advocacy visit to the Emir of Gwoza, represented by the Waziri of Gwoza, Muhammad Waziri.
